Surf

<Surf> is a graduation project based on my own experience when I surf. It is a story of surfers whose wild nature wake up when they compete with each other to take a great wave. And after the ride they become human and exchange a high-five as good competitors. These artworks are selected for the 2020 Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustration Exhibition and one of the 50 finalists of 2020 Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition.

<Surf>는 SI 그림책학교 졸업작품으로 진행한 프로젝트입니다. 서핑을 하면서 개인적으로 느낀 경험을 살려 만들었습니다. 서퍼들이 좋은 파도를 잡기 위해 경쟁을 하면서 그들의 야성이 깨어나고, 서핑이 끝난 후에는 언제 그랬냐는 듯 다시 사람으로 돌아오는 건강한 경쟁에 대한 이야기를 만들고 싶었습니다. 작업을 통해 2020년 볼로냐 올해의 일러스트레이터와 골든 핀휠 영 일러스트레이터 50 파이널리스트로 선정되었습니다. 현재 출간을 준비하고 있습니다.
